Broad City’s take on Yom Kippur

Comedy Central’s hit show about two young Jewish women, Broad City, shows how they struggle with fasting on Yom Kippur and the difficulties of waiting until sunset to break the fast. Granted, there’s something perverse about breaking your Yom Kippur fast with a bacon, egg and cheese bagel, but as the girls noted at the end of the video “We’re still Jews!”

Yes. Yes you are.

Broad City’s final episode was season 5, episode 10 on March 28, 2019. Abbi and Ilana always got great reviews but people kinda stopped tuning in. We’ll miss Broad City but we are fairly confident this is not the last we’ll see of these two.
