Asaf Avidan Touring in France this Summer

…and one date in Budapest. You can get the tour details here. Now, think about how weird that is. Avidan is hard core Israeli but his music is quintessentially American heartland indie. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, keep in mind that at Avidan’s 7th live show in 2011, he opened for Bob Dylan. But that’s not the weirdest thing. The weirdest thing is that they love him in France. Where many hate Jews and Israel. And they love him in Hungary where Neo-Nazis run rough shod over the streets of Budapest. With all that BDS stuff going on, and still they come. Any how, the video above is of Avidan performing his hit One Day at the Paléo Festival in Nyon, Switzerland. See? They love the shit out of that guy!?

The video below is for a song called Over My Head off of Avidan’s latest album Gold Shadow. It’s his latest stuff. Enjoy!
