Danny’s Jewish Stories and Jokes (Compilation)

The “Danny” in the title is Danny Avidan. He and his friend Brian play video games every day at two on YouTube’s Game Grumps channel. The videos show the game play and the banter between Danny and Brian. If you are unfamiliar with this genre, you might be thinking “What the fuck?” but each video rakes in over a million hits on a regular basis and Game Grumps has nearly three million subscribers. Yeah. That is pretty bad ass. Danny is also Jewish so this video is a compilation of all the best Jew-related chatter on the channel. Again, if you are unfamiliar with the genre, this might seem a bit idiotic, but if you follow along you’ll learn about Danny’s Israeli father and the entire project provides insight into modern Jewish identity and young American Jews today. Danny is also the lead singer of a band called Ninja Sex Party where he goes by the name Danny Sexbang. I can’t even tell you what kind of music he performs along with his silent sidekick Ninja Brian but it is oddly compelling – to the tune of 582,561 subscribers and 67,842,726 views. Just to put that into context, Matisyahu’s Vevo channel has a mere 158,633 subscribers (and 86,051,377 views). Danny Avidan is an honest to Hashem, real live rock star.
