Kids vs. Gefilte Fish

Just in time for Passover, the fine folks at React added a new segment to their People vs. Food series. In this clip, they take a group of cute and innocent kids and subject them to Gefilte Fish. Among many Ashkenazi Jews, Gefilte Fish is an obligatory part of all Sabbath and holiday meals. Some, like the owners of Gefilteria in New York, have tried to redefine this age-old Ashkenazi dish by creating dishes using organically sourced fish and a variety of spices and toppings, but it will be a long time before Gefilte Fish loses its image as “sausage of the sea.”
