RedBand & Ninet Cover The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face”

RedBand? Talented musicians for sure, but basically… Muppets. Yes. A Muppet band. An awesome Israeli-American Muppet band. Don’t even ask. Ninet? That’s Ninet Tayeb – one of the greatest talents ever produced by Israel. Singer, songwriter, actress, model – you name it, she’s done it and at the very highest level possible. Gal Gadot has nothing on her.

The title of this post gives it away. It’s that (awesome) Muppet band doing a cover of The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face. But this cover? This cover is FIRE. There’s a whole lot of talent in this clip and it’s here just for your listening pleasure. It’s from a live show at the Zappa in Haifa during what must have been an incredible Purim party apparently.

So… what’s with this? Tayeb’s living in LA working on expanding her listener base. Why’s she singing covers with RedBand? Because 9-years ago, Tayeb did a cover of Gnars Barkley’s Crazy with the Muppets. And it was mind altering. Another collaboration was long past due. Obviously.
