Simja Dujov is an Argentine Jew whose musical style encompasses a frenetic mishmash of Balkan, Gypsy, Klezmer uh… joie de vivre? Drunkenness? I don’t know how to describe it beyond that except that whenever I listen to his music I instinctively reach over for a shot of something strong and indigenous – preferably prepared in someone’s bath tub.
